Seeing clearly
Meditation is about seeing clearly the body that we have, the mind that we have, the domestic situation that we have, the job that we have, and the
people who are in our lives. It’s about seeing how we react to all these things. It’s seeing our emotions and thoughts just as they are right now, in this very moment, in this very room, on this
very seat. It’s about not trying to make them go away, not trying to become better than we are, but just seeing clearly with precision and gentleness…[We] work
with cultivating gentleness, innate precision, and the ability to let go of small-mindedness, learning how to open to our thoughts and emotions, to all the people we meet in our world, how to
open our minds and hearts.

It takes
'It takes a village to raise a child.' ~ African proverb
If they don't kill the messenger, it takes only one person to inform the village.
It takes only one informed village to create a small movement.
It takes only one small movement to make a difference.
It takes only one person to change the world.

Felicidades en este Dia de los Muertos,
a holiday celebrated throughout the world in many cultures under different names. In most Mexican tradition, November 1st is to honor children that have past and the 2nd is to honor adults.
Catholic oriented countries celebrate All Saints Day, many countries honor their deceased with flowers on the graves or with offerings. Honoring the dead is a tradition that has many faces
throughout the world but is affirming to our humanity that almost all cultures have done so throughout history.
